The article presents the results of a study on the accumulation patterns of geochemical elements in the tissues of the digestive system of grazing sheep aimed at their use as bioindicators of the environmental status of territories in Kazakhstan and Germany. Particular attention was paid to identifying differences in element concentrations depending on geographic location and the impact of anthropogenic pressure on the environment. Living organisms are known to be a dynamic component of landscapes and respond sensitively to changes and fluctuations in environmental factors. Elevated concentrations of chemical elements in the atmosphere lead to transformations in living organisms, including alterations in metabolism and tissue structure. The study objects included stomach tissues of grazing sheep collected from 10 districts of the Pavlodar region; for comparative analysis, additional biomaterial samples were obtained from the Abai region (Kalbatau village) and Germany (Nordhorn). Such studies make it possible to predict the migration of elements along the biotic chain and to determine the specific features of heavy element accumulation in the stomach tissues of sheep from different districts of the study area, which is particularly important for assessing the environmental safety of pastures and the quality of agricultural products. Geochemical analysis revealed the technogenic nature of heavy element accumulation (zinc, chromium, etc.), indicating the influence of industrial facilities and transport infrastructure in the Pavlodar region. The maximum accumulation of elements was found to depend on the distance from industrial centers as well as on landscape characteristics and feeding conditions of the animals
