Journal of Ecology and Sustainability is published as a continuation of the scientific journal “Bulletin of ENU. Ecology Series”. The journal maintains the academic scope of “Bulletin of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Series: Chemistry. Geography. Ecology”, published since 1995.

Following rebranding and re-registration with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the journal was assigned the registration number No. KZ70VPY00137867 dated December 25, 2025.
