Journal Background
The Journal of Ecology and Sustainability was established as an independent scientific journal based on the ecology section of the “Bulletin of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Chemistry. Geography. Ecology Series.” As part of the development of scientific specialization, the ecological direction was separated into a new standalone journal to strengthen academic focus and enhance the international visibility of published research.

Aims and Scope
The journal publishes carefully selected original scientific works on key topics related to ecology, environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources, sustainable development, assessment of air, soil, and water quality, as well as the analysis of local and global environmental challenges.

Editorial Policy and Peer Review:
All submissions undergo technical screening, plagiarism checking (minimum originality threshold — 70%), and double-blind peer review in accordance with COPE standards. The editorial board makes publication decisions based on two independent peer reviews.
